Contemporary Foods Inc. has provided unparalleled catering services throughout the tri-state area since its inception in 1985. 
From it modest beginnings out of a small family kitchen, Contemporary Foods has grown to a large-scale, full service catering company that turns entertaining dreams into realities.
We pride ourselves on providing service that is unmatched by others as our staff goes above and beyond to ensure every detail is accounted for and each bite is more delicious than the last.

Richard Millman-President

Richard founded Contemporary Foods with a goal of bringing good food and impeccable service to his friends and family as they celebrated life's biggest occasions.  He has since turned that dream into an exceptional business with high profile clients and a reputation for excellence.  A graduate of Denver University's Hotel School, Richard has always had a passion for the hospitality industry.  His previous postions at Tavern on the Green and the Grand Hyatt exposed him to the behind-the-scenes intracacies of producing five-star dining experiences and he has translated that knowledge to the off-premise catering services that Contemporary Foods provides.  Richard takes great pride in the events produced by CF, and he will be the person who sees your event through from inception to completion.

Our Staff

Armando was born and raised in El Salvador, coming to the United States as a teenager and bringing a knowledge of international cuisine to the Contemporary Foods family.  He has been with Contemporary Foods for over 20 years and works with Richard to develop exciting menus and creative food presentations to satisfy the most exacting clients.

Marla works behind the scenes to manage all of the details for your event, both in the days and weeks leading up to events and on-site as a logistics coordinator.  Marla's skill set lies in her ability to anticipate any and all needs that may arise before your event and plan accordingly so that everything goes off without a hitch.
